Measures against SMS fraud and fake sender IDs in A2P traffic

Morgan invites you to an industry gathering focused on efforts to combat SMS fraud (smishing) and strengthen protection against fake SMS sender IDs in A2P traffic.

We will present a proposal that could stop a large proportion of the fake sender IDs currently being used fraudulently. The proposal builds on the operators’ Sender ID Protection, but with improvements inspired by other European markets, with the aim of achieving faster implementation and higher adoption.

We will also share experiences from some of the brands that have already implemented Sender ID Protection – the challenges they have encountered, the benefits and any potential drawbacks they have experienced, and the practical impact the solution has had. Hopefully, representatives from some of these companies will also participate and share their experiences firsthand.

There will also be time for questions and discussion. Light refreshments and drinks will be served at the bar.
