RCS Business Messaging – Finally Here!
Few innovations have been as highly anticipated in our industry as the launch of RCS Business Messaging (RBM). Often referred to as “SMS 2.0,” RBM brings a range of new features such as verified senders, alphanumeric sender IDs that recipients can reply to, high-resolution images, and improved traceability.
During this packed evening, we’ll learn all about RBM and hear how it is being used in Sweden, the Nordics, and Europe. We’ll also get to see a Live Demo of one of the applications.
Tonight’s Speakers
Sam Jahanfar is CEO and co-founder of Rule, established in 2007 in Stockholm. Rule has developed a platform for email marketing, marketing automation, and SMS communication, helping over 3,000 companies worldwide create personalized and effective communication solutions.
One of Rule’s clients is Vinoteket, a company that has long used email and SMS marketing. Together with Rule, they’ve recently started using RBM. Sam will share how RBM has been received in the Swedish market, the outcomes so far, and the insights Rule and Vinoteket have gained.
Hassan Jalal is Head of Sales for the Nordics at Vonage (a part of Ericsson), focusing on solutions within AI, SMS, and RCS. He has extensive experience in leading digital transformation within communication.
Hassan will share how Vonage works with RBM in the German market based on a use case, how it’s been received there, and what we can learn from a market where RBM has been available longer than in Sweden.
Jan Færch is Head of Sales at Viatel – a leading company in the Nordics in SMS voting and mobile donation services. With extensive experience in SMS, Jan works daily to meet customer needs with modern SMS and RCS solutions.
Jan will present a live demo featuring one of Viatel’s customers using RBM to communicate with their target audience in a highly powerful and effective way. The demo will showcase many of RBM’s features, such as carousels, high-resolution images, and how an RCS conversation works.
After the presentations, we’ll open the floor for questions while serving pizza slices and drinks at the bar.
RSVP by replying to this email no later than Wednesday, May 7.
Please state if you’re not Swedish speaking, then the presentations will be held in English.
Feel free to include your mobile phone number in the response – thank you!
Warm welcome!
